To whom this may concern:
Kidding. My name is Annie and I’m a Chicago native with an eye to see the world. Creativity and curiosity are my strong-suits—offset by an immense weakness for cardinal directions. I mostly communicate via sarcasm, impersonations and good-old-fashioned banter.
I’m currently a writer for Ogilvy Chicago, where I spend my days thinking up alliterations and one-liners. And if you would’ve asked childhood me, I’m living out the dream. Outside of work, I’m a student of the Second City Training Center and a for-fun script writer. I played Division 1 hockey for Colgate University—and I’ve head-coached a girl’s high school hockey team for the past four years.
Resume-stuff aside, I’m an introvert who always seems to find myself surrounded by people. I’m a busy-body. A dad music enthusiast. A foodie. A perpetual giggler. And most importantly, patiently waiting for life to resume so I can grab some inspiration for my next big idea.

Personal:
COACHING:
I was a Division 1 ice hockey player for the Colgate Raiders. I’ve taken this passion beyond my college experience, coaching throughout the Chicagoland area for the past 4 years.
ROMANS HOCKEY CLUB:
I’ve been the head coach of the Chicago Romans High School Hockey Club for 4 years. It is a combined program of 6 Chicago Public Schools—with a rigorous practice and game schedule.
As a coach, I love to keep things light and fun—but fast paced and skill-based. This job has taught me leadership and communication skills I take with me into every facet of my life. Outside of the rink, I mentor these girls through their college application processes, writing many a letter of recommendation each year.
DELANEY HOCKEY:
I am a skills-specific hockey coach working under the Delaney Hockey School brand. Kevin Delaney, skills instructor for the Chicago Blackhawks and the University of Wisconsin Badgers, entrusted me to start up the women-specific branch of his hockey brand.
I specialize in edge work and stick handling—relaying his rigorous skill-based drills to college-bound players who haven’t been exposed to such specific training.
